OUR BIBLE READING PLAN:
We have three options to encourage you to read the Bible this coming year. Start thinking to which you would like to commit to this year. What if this was the year you read the whole Bible for the first time?!

OPTION #1: The Whole Bible
Read the whole Bible! Each day you will have one Old Testament and one New Testament reading (We will be providing this guidance/suggestion). An average of 3-4 chapters a day with only one weekend reading (allowing catch up time). You aren't stuck in the OT for 3/4s of the year, you read it concurrently with the NT. If we were to encourage you to do one option more than another, this is the one! However, if this seems too daunting, two more options for you.
OPTION #2: Read The New Testament Only
Ignore the OT reading for the day and just spend the year working through the 27 books of the New Testament.
OPTION #3: Read the Old Testament Only
Ignore the NT reading for the day and just spend the year working through the 39 books of the Old Testament. We are working on getting the Bible Reading Plan in our hands to print and get to you, both physically to tuck in your Bibles or digitally for you to have on your phones or tablets - STAY TUNED HERE!

OUR CHURCHWIDE DISCUSSION BOARD
One of the greatest helps in actually reading through the Bible is community, doing it with others and not alone. We want to offer a resource that will bring us all together to have open discussions, ask questions and just have a place to come to and receive encouragement in this journey. That resource is DISCORD!
Our hope is to have an online churchwide conversation board for everyone who is reading to engage one another and be encouraged. If you've not used one of these conversation boards before, they are a huge blessing! Ours will have a few different channels to help you interact throughout the year:
- A place to ask pastors theological questions from what you've read/are confused about
- A place for discussing anything on the sermons
- A place for sharing favorite verses you've just read
- A place for sharing thoughts and encouragements you're finding in your reading
- A place to ask for prayer...and more!
We will be using the conversation board called DISCORD. Here's steps on how to use it:
