"One of my greatest joys is being married to my camp sweetheart, Kimberly, and the fun we have daily with raising our three gifts from the Lord, Sophia, Cora, and Jasper. I served for a decade as a Pastor in Pennsylvania before coming to Restoration. I have a Th.M. in Homiletics from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. "My life is enriched by being a husband to Kristen and father to Gabriella and Vivienne. I grew up in Houston, Texas, spent a decade in North Carolina, and three years in Vancouver, BC, before landing here, in my wife’s home state. I really enjoy traveling, but being rooted even more. I also love being outside with a purpose, such as hunting, fishing, hiking, or grilling."
Kristen Moore
CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR
"I grew up in Virginia, and am so delighted for my family to be back here! I discovered my love for God and his Word at a very young age, and am convinced children of all ages can have vital and joyful relationships with God. I delight in teaching the Word of God, praying that others will be caught up in God's grand unfolding story of redemption. I love laughing, drinking coffee, playing games, reading, any kind of celebration, and going on adventures with my family."
Nancy Schneider
WORSHIP DIRECTOR
Nancy has been involved with church music ministry since her childhood. She has over 35 years of experience leading churches to worship God with music. She loves to encourage and grow musicians of all ages through a variety of styles of music. As a graduate of Radford University with a degree in Music Education, Nancy studied voice, piano, organ and conducting and loves being able to use these skills in ministry. She also enjoys teaching and sharing the love of music with her private piano/voice students. Nancy and her husband, Mark, have been married for 27 years and have 3 adult children. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys being with family & friends, watching football (especially the Cleveland Browns), playing fantasy football, working her network marketing business, and traveling. She’s always up for a trip to Local Cup or Chicken Salad Chick!
Amy Gathje
Financial analyst
Amy Gathje serves as our Financial Analyst, bringing over 20 years of experience providing full-service accounting. She's a life-long resident of Hanover County. Amy and her husband, Todd, have 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls). After graduating from Atlee High School, went on to earn her B.S. in Accounting from Lee University located in Cleveland, TN. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading her Bible and shopping at her favorite stores -- Ross’s and the Dollar Tree. Amy is affectionately referred to by fellow staff as the "Singing Bookkeeper."
Heather Garrett
MINISTRY COORDINATOR
Heather serves as our Ministry Coordinator, bringing over 15 years of experience providing all-around administrative and non-profit fundraising support. She's a life-long resident of Hanover County. Heather and her husband, Kevin, have 2 children and 2 dogs. After graduating from Lee-Davis High School, she went on to work in the medical field for over 10 years until finding her true calling for non-profit work and fundraising starting in 2014. She loves spending time with her family and friends in Disney World or you can find her on a Disney cruise if she is not in the office. Heather is enthusiastically referred to by fellow staff and kiddos as the "The Disney Lady."
Elizabeth Dill
Children's assistant
"I have enjoyed being a part of the Restoration family since 2011. My primary role is supporting our children’s ministry. I have three children ranging in ages from 17-23. When not busy with them, I enjoy going on adventures with my dog, Lucy, spending quality time with friends, and watching historical documentaries."
